HEY!
Okay, so this is end of full day 2. I'm actually sitting here sweaty from my walk/jog outside. It is really just hot out there! In 25 minutes my nike+ app said that I went 1.8 miles. That makes my average pace a 15minute mile. I know that is not impressive, but I need to start somewhere. I am glad that I used my nike+ sensor for the first time today.
Speaking of nike+... I just got familiar with the site. It is a pretty cool thing. I set a goal on that site to run 2 times a week and named the goal RUN TO LOSE THAT FAT.
Goal for tomorrow: Circuit workout to tone my muscles.
2 days down, 103 days to go!

Hello Hello!
Like I said, I went to cycle. It was rough to tell you the least. When I went to cycle in January I was able to work so much harder than what I did today. I mean I understand that it's normal that I was not able to work as hard, but it still sucks. I know I will get back to what I was able to do. I thought the class I went to was only a 45min class, but it ended up being an hour! YAY!
After cycle I went to work for 8 hours. That was a struggle....
Tomorrow will be circuit workout day.
"It took more than one day to put it on. so it'll take more than one day to take it off."
Good night!

Getting Started
Hello world!
Lately I have been trying to find a way to get myself on back on track with getting to a healthier weight. As many of you know, I am a senior in college, but not just any college; a culinary school. With that being said... I experienced freshman 30. As of this evening I am at 169lbs. According to the BMI calculator on fitbie.com, that is a BMI of 29 which is overweight and on the verge of being obese. Gross. Now, my ultimate goal is to be down to a healthy weight of 139lbs. That's all 30lbs that I gained over the years! If I stick to 2lbs a week, it will take at least 15 weeks for this journey.
15 weeks puts it at around October 1st for my deadline, but I want to mark this journey's end with my first 5k ever: The Color Run.
The color run is a 5k that you dress in all white for. At each kilometer a colored powder is thrown at you, so that by the end of the run you are covered in tons and tons of dye. Then at the end there is a huge celebration where you continue to add colors to your once white clothes. Registration hasn't opened yet for the Charlotte run, but I am signed up for updates.
A few months ago I fell in love with cycle classes at the Y. I would go almost 6 times a week, and I LOVED it. The excuse I like to use as to why I stopped was that my school and work schedule changed and I just couldn't "find the time". In reality I was just lazy. There is no valid reason as to why I stopped going, that's why I am making the commitment to go to cycle every day that I have work. My favorite Y is next to my work and there is no reason why I cannot go over there before or after for an hour class. No. Reason. At. All. That being said, I will be waking up early to be at cycle at 930am. I am excited about this.
Now I can talk about exercise all day, but that is not the only way to reach this goal of mine. Dieting... Well, I don't diet. I mean I went to a culinary school because I like food. And trying new foods or restaurants is what I like to do. That's all I have to say about that for now.
A lady I work with is a distributor for Herbalife. They have a quick start plan that I am looking into getting. It comes with a shake mix and some supplements so get weight loss started. The thing that is holding me back is that it is kind of expensive. More on that later...
So there it is. Today is June 11. I am at 169.
This weeks goal: Cycle every day that I have work. (Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
Weigh 167 on June 18.
Good night :)
